I bought a 1953 United Leader Shuffle Alley a couple years ago, that had caught on fire in the coin mechanism area. I was able to connect the common wire and the system reset wire directly to an old doorbell button, and that has worked great in resetting the game, but if I try the same thing on the wire to the coin step-up board, it just archs. do I need to place a resistor or diode across the wires, or should it work with just direct connect to the switch.
