I bought a SM a couple of weeks ago that had this kit on it, and the strips were damaged in the move so that only the backbox LEDs were connected. Seller asked Chris about a repair, and instead I got a whole new set of LED strips in the mail-great service! Installed the new lights last night though, and wow, that's pretty intense with the undercab as well. It's actually a little too much at times-there's no way to dial the brightness down, is there? It was actually giving people headaches when I had it connected. Could also be a matter of personal preference though, and might also work better in a slightly brighter gameroom (my basement is pretty dark). Probably not good for the kids though-I have a 2 year old who's much closer to the ground, so these are closer to eye level for him (and he already likes playing Spider-Man)
Has anyone ever run a switch to these so that you can turn the undercab lights on/off without getting behind the game? Might be a compromise to make it easier to have these on/off on demand. Simple enough to connect/disconnect from the back when you can get behind the machine, but not when it's right up against the wall.
