Hi,

Brand new Star Wars Comic Premium machine out of the box. While working on a game breaking issue, I noticed that once the May The Force Be With You out-lane diverter ball save is engaged it makes a loud buzz/vibration. Basically sounds like an electric shaving razor. I'm not sure I would have noticed it had the sound and glass been on. Any idea if this is normal?
Video (sound on):

Thanks!

Was that video made in a game, after you earned the ball save and the diverter actuated? If so, I would say that is normal. The electronics pulses power to the coil once it has been activated to hold the diverter open. This pulsing sometimes causes the buzzing you hear. Same can happen with flipper coils. You can try tightening the screws on the diverter mech below the playfield to see if you can suppress some of the buzzing.

If that video was made in attract mode or when the ball save has not been earned, I would say that is not normal.

Thanks! It was in game after it was engaged.
