Equally important is to begin to identify what you like about pinball. Will any game in general satisfy? What about features? Do you really like pop bumpers? What about drop targets?
Spinners, ramps, rollovers?
Then beyond the basics you have DMD's, vuk's, multi-ball and a host of other things.
So take your time. Play a wide variety of games. Identify your preferences and what you absolutely have to have in a machine.
And remember should your first machine
lose it's appeal,
you can always buy another
