    Quoted from KyleCat:

The top older SS's on my list would be; Funhouse, Pinbot, Taxi, Banzai Run (maby), Whirlwind. Most pin's before DMD in my list will be Williams (I have enjoyed them virtually and IRL), I can't really seem to get into any non-Williams pins before 1991. For my list on top new SS pins I have; T2, TOM, TOTAN, NGG, STNG, Scared Stiff (first pin I ever played), AFM (doubt I can get a good one for under $5,000), WPT, and ST LE. If there are any that you think I might like feel free to suggest.

All those are great...funhouse and whirlwind should be easy to find in your price range. Both are great and usually really dependable. Hard to find a pristine playfield in that era though if you care about that...

$3400 is a good price even if you have to put a few hundred in to it.

has been up for 30 days at this price.

hmm...that is a bit of a warning but STTNG's are hard to sell for some reason. I think people are scared off by the reputation for trouble and the actual weight?

could be gone and not deleted, check if they have it at all first

What usually breaks? Whats to look out for? I can hardly find this stuff online.

Anything else I should ask about?

Any errors, any known or intermittent issues, ANY problems with the cannons? Did he replace ramps(mentions extras)? Without seeing it obviously, I would think you would be pretty safe at that price even if it needed a board repair or new board. Getting a 100% working, decent STTNG for $4k or so is a solid deal so you'd have some room to get up to 4k if it needed a little work. That's a bit of a haul to go for a machine so maybe ask for a few better pics via email.

Still no response from the email :/

I've had people take WEEKS and then they respond on CL...

Curious if this is a good deal or not. Help appreciated.
Might be able to haggle him down to $4500

    Pinball-Addams Family Pinball - $5000?

If it's solid that's a good price...all about the condition and if it works 100%

    up to date values.

they only have 1 record of an AFM since 2014...probably why--purely based on what they pull from Ebay only I think. I go more with Mr. Pinball but all these lists are more of a ballpark.

Anyone have an idea on how much street fighter 2's run for in excellent condition?

    Quoted from KyleCat:

The guy said $4700 and I think that's above market and ridiculous.

For TOM? That's a pretty good price if it's nice

    #96 4 years ago

A TOM that needs a little TLC and a shop job goes for around 4k... I would go look at that one for sure. If it's in good shape, no errors and just needs a cleanup/shop job I'd make an offer on it. A nice, good condition, fully shopped TOM will go for around 5k.

    but have a retail markup

They've had a Whirlwind on Ebay forever for $3500

    #104 4 years ago

Maybe they have 10 replacement trunks(why?)...resell those on ebay for $40 each and that's $400 credit towards the machine...you're down to $4300! A steal!

    #108 4 years ago

Shouldn't you be in class btw?

    Quoted from KyleCat:

Just got back from a long day of picking up and standing. I have a TOM in my room for a great price. I payed $4400 and he gave me a new rubber kit, 10 trunks, new cord, and a brains worth of info. The guy was one of the nicest men I had ever met. He was like finding a marshmallow in a box of Lucky Charms.

That's a great deal! Congrats. What's up with the 10 trunks? Sell those on ebay.

There's no shame in playing it with incandescent bulbs for a while.

Or forever...full LED's are way too blinding for some
