I played WOZ around a dozen times, and I own a Trek Pro.
My recommendation is for the Trek. Even though your family might not like the theme as much as a WoZ, the gameplay of Trek is far easier to understand (until you get to some of the confusing 3rd missions). Even if you don't understand the modes, there's always the big thing in the center to aim for, and it gives very satisfying feedback when you connect.
