Curious to hear from OP. 6 pins in the collection so I would hope it's more than a wire coming off an opto. Who has 6 pins and doesn't know how to work on one.

I have to side with the buyer given the updated post. If what he says is true the machine was knowingly shipped with issues. If I were the buyer I would post a tech thread and just get it working though. Seems the techs that looked at it were not as good as some of the guys here. I have had some talented people help me find problems and I am grateful.
