When a buy a used truck, I still get the remainder of the factory warranty.
No Ford or BMW dealer has ever refused me warranty service because I bought the car second hand.

Next time, tell your potential customer "Call me with your best price. I want your business!". That way, if another distributor undercuts you, you get a second chance at making the sale.
