Here's the deal folks - you have an authorized distributor like me and all the others (Stern, JJP, and Planetary) who carry inventory, go to shows and can service your games. JJP clarified they will warranty and support any games sold - and that's good - the issue is if the person you bought it from if not authorized can not. That was the point.
When the authorized distributors are out of business and not at shows bringing games for you to play and you have shows suffering when vendors aren't buying spaces - complain then and buy from the back alley guys. There's reasons there are authorized distributors and there are reasons others are turned away. Figure it out.
I for one am sick of seeing newbies to the hobby taken advantage of. Sorry I spoke up. Carry on.
I was asked to remove the post so I did out of respect. I at least have the balls to call out something wrong that can hurt newbies who don't know better.
I stand by what I said that people should not buy a $ 9,500 JJP game from someone who is not authorized to sell it and Jack agreed. That was the only point. Those that know me understand where it comes from.
You never see me on here bitching about anything or starting drama. Take it or leave it I'm trying to protect people. I get the calls from the people I didn't even sell a game to who need help because their so called 'distributor' won't return their call and I help them. So ya I'm sick of dealing with the back door 'shhh don't tell anyone where you got it from' deals. If you gotta lie to your customer or tell your customer to lie, somethings not right.
The legit and respected distributors who drag games to shows and service their customers know what I'm talking about.
