Here are my thoughts after receiving half a dozen games from NAVL. Take your time examining the machine. I have to make myself go over each machine. Note ANY damage. Even if you think it was previous damage note it. Nothing worse than finding out after the fact that those scratches were not on the machine before it shipped and if you didn't note it then you are done, no recourse. Worse case you find your sellers pics and realize they were there and your good. They aren't going to admit to any damage so you might as well just start writing anything that you see. It's always the little damage that you don't find, wear from the straps, forklift damage on the back lower cabinet. ripped led's from under that cabinet, wear from rubbing against the side of a truck for 1000 miles. If you note your contract with STI or NAVL you are buying a certain amount of time for the truck to be there. USE IT! EXAMINE EXAMINE EXAMINE... I have had pretty good success with NAVL but filing a claim sucks. I would prefer the seller to make sure that NAVL does wrap the machine correctly. If you receive a damaged machine from improper packing sure its NAVL's fault but go through the claims process and you quickly realize if the seller had just put some foam down under the head...etc you wouldn't have to file a claim. If its wrapped properly the only real damage they can do is from straps too tight and fork lift damage.
Just my two cents on the subject.
