Ok, I was going to do a high end restore on my Getaway, but then I didn't. I have a clearcoated repro playfield from Germany that I'll sell for cost (899 Euro plus hst) if anyone's interested. Might have some other restore parts too (decals, plastics), but going to give some local folks with Getaways rights of first refusal on them. Pm me if interested.

I put an ad on pinballrev. Wasn't sure what to do on maaca. I figured the main thread was just for machines going to the show, and I figure the ads in "parts for sale" are never read.

ugh. I arrived Friday night to a blackout Ottawa. spent the night in a stuffy dark hotel room with no ventilation. Nowhere to eat the next day, no power, traffic lights out, a big mess, so I drove back to Toronto. Sorry to all those affected.

here is a tour of the show before it was officially cancelled due to jerkface tornadoes ruining everything and "destroying vital power infrastructure"
As a former event promoter, this is my worst nightmare come true. All that work and it goes poof. I hope the venue is accommodating with the rental. Maybe they can honor the event for next year? That would be a huge amount of cash to just eat, let alone the other out of pocket expenses.
