I personally have a problem with that. I see no benefit on placing accountability on a third person "being" called suicide. Whatever you want to call it, it's tragic. But there was a choice which carried accountability and a result. This is not a random strike by lightning. It was His finger that pulled the trigger, or hand that put X into their mouth, or jumped off a bridge. Mental illness is real but making excuses just to make excuses does more harm for our society in the long run in my opinion. How about a more proactive focus on mental health which allows people to heal? Just my thoughts.
