Well, the wheel was giving me fits. It had been previously repaired (glued/taped) and seemed to be slipping and throwing the game off. I went to tighten it slightly with the adjustment screw and BANG - plastic broke off.

My thought was to try to JB weld and see if that works.. Looks like someone made a 3 printed wheel for 100 bucks, but not sure I want to go that route and I'm also not seeing the "Decal" that goes on the front of it being available either.

Any thoughts or anyone know something that seemed to work well?

Thanks for the feedback. I put the board back on the test bed rechecked all PIA’s via pinwiki notes all tested good. I performed the memory test and pulse continued so it passed. During the test the segment display is always flashing intandem with the test the numbe 8. Not sure where to go from here?

Ok put game rom back in on bench and got a 0 looks like a normal boot….

Then I used the test switch and got the 8 for memory ok then a 3 which is checksum error U26. I turned power on an off several times and get the 8 again. Removed U26 and get the 0 every time. Going to reburn u26

Should I be using 256 or 512k Roms like the test chip?

I burned another u26 no change. If I power on an off eventually I get it to boot maybe 1 in 5 tries. I did change out the cpu u15 no change.

Mine was only cracked, but I used a heavy-duty ZIP tie (like the 8" variety) and it's worked flawlessly for years now.

I think you're in the wrong thread, but U26 on a High Speed is a 2764 chip. If you use a 27128 or 27256, then double or quadruple the image prior to burning. I don't think a 27512 is officially supported on a board of this era.

I’d see if you can glue the broken chunk back on and add a zip tie around the outside as recommended above. JB weld should also work but may be more finicky to redrill the shaft hole.

The wheel is available from Marco (Williams plastic wheel, 03-8161). They also have the set screw (4006 01076-03). I found photos of the decal on the web and printed one on Inkjet Sticker Paper (Glossy); it took some trial and error to get the right sizing. One site with a good photo of the decal is VPUniverse.com. Result is good appearance and function.
