Yes. You need new connector and new pins on the board.

If you haven't done board work, get help. Easy to lose through board continuity.

Make a "Y", solder two wires to one, and then the one into the connector.

That is why you take two wires. Solder to one wire. The two wires go to two spots on the connector. The one wire goes to the original wire that went to two spots.

That is why I posted earlier in this thread to make a "Y".
