Hi folks!
I’m looking for a bit of guidance.
I found a burnt board on the bottom of my Cyclone playfield.
There are two twisted pairs of wires I’m guessing are bypassing the board?
Can anyone tell me what it is and point me in the right direction of a repair?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

And after repair...

It's the playfield GI relay. The playfield GI lights flash at times. If the board is bypassed the playfield lights will always be ON.

You need new header pins and connectors. It's important to pair up the wires correctly. One pair of yellow/violet wires will be shorted because they are connected together at the power supply board. The other pair of yellow/violet wires go to the playfield and should not be shorted. Now I don't know which pair go to which side of the relay contacts, but it doesn't really matter so long as the pairs stay together. For example, put the power supply yellow/violet pair to the two COM terminals. Put the playfield yellow/violet pair to the NC terminals.

Oh and before doing any of that you should go to the solenoid test and verify the the relay actually clicks. There should be a test entry that says something like "Playfield GI".

Also, there's an identical relay on the back of the insert panel that flashes the insert lights. There's another entry in the solenoid test for that. So you can watch the insert relay and lights to get an idea of what the playfield is supposed to do.

Thanks for all the info!
Your cyclone looks way cleaner than mine.
This is my first pin so I’m new to all this.
I prob. Should have held out for one in a little bit better of shape (or at a better price) but I’m learning a ton and having fun with it.
I’m gonna pull out the manual and figure out how to run the tests and I’ll post the results.
I started giving it a good cleaning and that’s when I found the burnt relay .
One thing led to another and this happened...

@jeffzee
Behold the ugliness .
All I wanna do is change the board and get it working but I fell like I should redo it all. Looks like it’s been through a flood .
You wouldn’t have a picture of the back relay wiring?
I think I did see one . I’ll do a search..
Thanks again !

It took me long enough but....
I have my .156 Molex connectors, crimp pins, and pins.
My buddy is coming over with his solder sucker, solder iron and krimper.
And he’s gonna show me my way around a multi meter.
With any luck.... I might have some GI light effects I haven’t had n my machine!
And my playfield is about 40% back together.
Can’t wait to post the progress.
I developed a new error
Adjust Switch 18 then C. DROP TARGET 18
Ugg
Gonna look for any loose wires, stuck switch, dirty
Hopefully an easy diagnosis and quick fix .
