Quoted from chaskett:Yours look great too! I'll be curious to know how well the vinyl holds up under the heat of the bulbs.
Thanks man. I would recommend anyone installing new pop caps (on any machine) to install LED's in them. They pretty much eliminate heat and will prevent any heat damage that incandescent bulbs cause. In a home use environment though, incandescent bulbs are usually ok as most people don't leave their games on for that long. Certainly not 8 - 12 hours a day like the old arcades used to do which is what caused the burning and cracking we see in most 30+ year old games.
I finally got to see what they look like installed and illuminated. Here is the final result (these are incandescent bulbs)...
20180814_201958 (resized).jpgOk so I made a couple sets of caps and here are pics of the final product. I am not making more but I do have some extra decals if anybody wants to make their own. Just order the blank caps from pinball resource and stick on the vinyl decals! You can see the old versus the new on the 1st pic.

Quoted from metal-mods:I have red vinyl decals. Or I can do the opposite and send what would be a stencil, PM if interested. Pictures shown are of the decals

Those are beautiful.
I got some from someone a couple years ago and they went in the trash, the writing was all blotchy, there was no white in the curly-cue at the top of the "E" - looked a kid did it with a big fat marker.
