You can call anixter and request them over the phone. They can get whatever color you want, any stripe color.

Sounds like an interesting conversation. I may have to send pics of specific tracer designs also as Williams was, uhm, unique with tracer designs.

Thats pretty standard for custom put ups.
They may be able to send you a sample of the modern color strippign methods.

Yea, unless your going to use a lot of wire like Chris does it wouldn't be worth the money to have a whole spool made.

Depends how much it is per foot. Bay area wants .25 per foot, could be as low as .03 per foot if you go to the modern source.
