    Quoted from yaksplat:

The town completely shut him down and he hasn't said a peep since the cops were at his front door. He now eats dinner on the opposite side of his kitchen table so he doesn't have to see anything out here.
Funny thing is that I built his deck and fireplace, and he just put in a new hot water tank for me since it had to be relocated and now be a direct vent instead of using a chimney. He was a decent guy, but I never had a beer with him in the 16 years that I've lived here, and he's been here 27. Just neighborly fence chatting.
I have wood coming tomorrow. I can frame out one section and lay out the remainder of the sill and rim joist. Beams will be ordered today and installed next week. As soon as the beams and columns are installed, the floor can be poured.

No one likes change, maybe once he sees it completed, he'll feel differently.

I could never do that where I live, you have to be 30 feet from the property line for any structure. This past fall we replaced our old Mini Split with a Fujitsu low temp unit Mini Split. We were skeptical that this unit would keep our house warm during those PA cold winter days and nights but the dealer assured us it would. I was very pleasantly surprised, it did keep the house warm, not coal stove warm but I can live with it. Good luck with the build.

That's old roofing on the kitchen section. It kind of looks like crap, but you can't see it unless you're in a drone. The exterior is 100% complete for the winter.
Plumbing is 70% complete and the electrical is 20%
After watching my cousin do the plumbing, i don't know how i could have done it on my own. All of the things that he's taken into consideration that I would never have thought of blows my mind.

When we put a second story on our home, I did some of the plumbing and you were smart letting your cousin do it, plumbing is not easy.

Where I live, you would have plenty of people wanting your wood, you may even make a few bucks.

Arborvitae are great as long as there are no deer around.
