hi, After converting a bally bingo machine to use an arduino i decided a pinball would be the next project using an arduino. Found a playfield on ebay and populated it with gottlieb parts. The project aim were to be able to replace the playfield with other playfields i have a duotron and my bally bingo's. The starting point was to design a simple electronics solution using off the self parts and to reduce everything to a minimal but have correct functionality. I use 2 arduinos, a mega as the master also controlling 3 bumpers and ball delivery mechanism, and additional arduino for flippers, knocker and chime unit. For the Duotron i will add another uno to control the extra slingshots etc. For the display i have used a lcd tv and drive it with a small fanless pc to generate the backglass display. Will build a proper backbox sometime. have attached a few photos. Will update as i progress. Current working on the backglasses for flying carpet and duotron having spent about 50 hours on each so far. Had the first ones back from the printers, need some colour work still but ok for the time being
