What the guys that built mine did was to start with a donor machine. You at least want one of the same era. Doesn't have to be a TAF, but you want the right cabinet, hardware and a wiring harness that's at least close enough to get you started, not to mention the boardset you get too. Then you get a playfield and populate it and work the wiring harness splices to line it all up with the components actually used by TAF. Good luck and have fun.
