Quoted from hawkeye11:For most things a Home Depot Weller for $20 works fine.
+1
Also, a 6-1 screwdriver, a leatherman, and a cordless drill.

If you were to ask me for my number one tool for pin repair, it would be the six in one. I have a higher end one because I use it so much. The two nut drivers are the standard sizes of 95% of the nuts used on machines and we all know how many screws are involved. I have one tool in my pocket that can dissasemble most of a machine, and then I can pull it out of the handle and use it as a bit with the cordless drill.
Best tool ever!
Of course I also use a leatherman as my needle nose pliers and knife blade. So, what do I know?
