That is a delay circuit. find it on the schematic, and replace the cap, and the burned resistor.
chk the diode with a DMM, or, just replace it too.
about a dollars worth of parts there.
Then, look at the circuit involved, and chk all the switches, one may be stuck. "resulting in the burned resistor" ???
Replaced the resistor, diode and capacitor...........nothing changed
cleaned relays involved including the KS that unplugs
Had this happen on my Buccaneer...sorry to say it was just a broken wire (the playfield had rubbed its way through a wire at the harness). Found the break using a jumper wire. Good luck...
Wow! I helped fix an EM! There's a first time for everything!
Where was the break? Was it the result of the playfield wood rubbing against the wires like mine?
about 6 inches from the playfield, in the harness going to the main board in the bottom of cabinet. I don't really know about rubbing, not really near anything, sure was burnt tho........repaired and works like a charm!
