Quoted from scootss:

And if you miss the shots, your flipper power gets weaker...like Marty's hand fading away while he plays.

Actually, this is the exact inverse of good game design.

If a player is struggling with something (i.e. missing shots), you aren't going to make him have more fun by making it harder.

While it might make sense for the BTTF story, it's not a good game design choice.

Quoted from scootss:

And if you miss the shots, your flipper power gets weaker...like Marty's hand fading away while he plays.

I could see it done like a mini impossible mode (like on Mando) or it could be a remaining flips mode like we’ve seen on AIQ.

Going to get my TAF Translite signed by Christopher Lloyd today.

Will see if he mentions anything about pinball

Got a few things signed by Christopher Lloyd, Claudia Wells and Don Fullilove.

I asked Don, he said he thought one was in the works, and to ask Claudia.

I asked Claudia and she said BTTF The Game she has done work for..

But who knows!

Dunno. Kaneda thinks it's Queen by Pinball Brothers. Always exciting to see a new game released regardless of what it is. Won't have to wait long to find out!

So we got Queen news.. Rumored Ozzy news? Meanwhile were all just here patiently waiting for Huey Lewis and the News..

Is there any sort of a time frame when Stern will drop the next title

I always wondered why they didn't get Huey to do music for the 2nd and 3rd movies.

They didn't have anyone special for the 2nd one, and they had ZZ Top for the 3rd. Did their relationship sour with Huey for some reason?

Seemed like both Huey and the movie benefited from their working together...

A flux capacitor ball lock is a must right? I can imagine the balls completing the three ends of the “Y” and then lighting up the time circuits. What an awesome effect it would be to see the balls cause the lights to start strobing?!

So many good ideas in this thread. I hope Stern has been paying attention.

Left ramp lock. Right ramp lock. Center ramp lock. Three locks when lit move three diverters to the flux capacitor endpoints.

Yes! I can see Stern creating some type of mechanical toy as a flux capacitor ball lock. After seeing Toy Story 4 JJP would likely make the flux capacitor a 10" LCD...

What I hope is that all 3 films and assets for them are in the game. A cool concept for code would be to "travel" to the various time periods over the course of the 3 films to complete certain goals. Thanks to RGB LED lighting the whole look / vibe of the game could change based on the time period you are in. Would love to see the LZ expression side cabinet lighting return for a time circuits affect, better yet would be the Star Trek LE exterior and interior cabinet lighting!

1: No doubt. Gross!

2: The expression lights would work great in creating the strobes and flame trails of reaching 88 mph to travel through time.

Robert zemeckis (sp?) Was a huey fan and a zz top fan. I would imagine they were a bit overworked/overwhelmed with the back to back shoot of 2 and 3 to work in new tunes for 2. I never dug the zz top songs or their guest appearance... the guitar rotate scene just seemed out of place. I used to not like 3 all that much..now story wise I dig it. I just didn't like how the train time machine looked...it seemed too prop-ish, not in doc brown's style. Also, just sort of odd doc hadn't seen Marty in years and he just leaves him at the train tracks with a shattered time machine. .. at least a ride home or something would have felt more like a reunion. It's like doc got a girlfriend and then just ditches his friends!

Ahhh...but it HAD to be that way. Prepare for your mind to be blown.

I had loved the trilogy for decades but then I discovered this and my appreciation went to another level. The movie is truly perfect from a narrative arc.

That was a fun read! Thanks for sharing. I love all the parallels that continually sync all 3 films together.

I didn’t know about these episodes from this series. Discovery doesn’t think it’s a dated title. https://simkl.com/tv/1557652/expedition-back-to-the-future

This is cool. We really need a flux on the game. I'm really digging the 3 ball lock idea, maybe hitting 3 different ramps when qualified will lock a ball at each point. Expression lighting is a must (fire trails!) and I want to see the time circuits to indicate which time you're in.. would be interesting if they could incorporate it into the apron somehow (mini lcd screen?) and maybe the action button can choose which time period you want to go to.

In all seriousness, how likely is it we get BTTF next from Stern? I have eyes on a nice GZ that I might scoop up. However, if BTTF is going to drop any day then I would hold off 100%.

The original rumor from Craig Bobbie was August 2022. That was before a cornerstone was skipped earlier this year. So I think we see it by January of 2023. Just my guess (and hope).

Pick up GZ. Worst case scenario, you sell it. Likely scenario, you have a great game to play for a few years.

Stern still posted it...you know that they are fully aware that the plutonium case is in that pic and their next pin is about to drop. Definitely deliberate. Anyone remember the Godzilla eye on the bowling ball pic Stern posted before Godzilla was released?

Maybe you could have got one Lego set and left the others for people that don't want to pay scalper price. I was wanting to buy this, but couldn't find without price gauge. I have moved on.

Lego updated their price on the 10300 $199.99 Aug 1 2022.

I am not a scalper, I paid well over a thousand and some change for them. You say that like I bought them for like $10 each or something. The boxes are not perfect for there is a little wear on them the are not collector boxes the OG price listed them for $269.95 (they knew damn well they were above MSRP), they were slightly discounted $195 after tax which is still above Legos MSRP $169.99 + tax which only should have been 184.xx, again I paid $195 but the new price is now is $199.99.

The store these came from is not available to most folks & requires a membership and is local only. I picked them up to help others like myself. I am asking $200 picked up or $210 shipped cash or zelle, which is about as low as I can go, and still beat almost all ebay listings and facebook listings.

I have never seen a Lego 10300 go for $169.99+tax shipped.

Find a better deal, then you should buy it.
