I have been scouring the internet for pictures of toy mods added to Back to the Future Tables, so I can pick the ones I like and copy them

I am finding very few mods through google image search but I know I've seen a bunch of toy deloreans in different places. If you wanted to show off the mods on your BTTF table this would be an awesome place to do it and I would certainly appreciate it!

Ill start:

I wanted to add this track
track.jpgtrack.jpg
to the ball shooter ramp with this car (vitesse 1:43):
vit1-43.jpgvit1-43.jpg

but Im concerned the track is too small for a 1:43 car.

Here are pics from one that sold on ebay recently, I REALLY like the clocktower delorean mod, its the same car from above on the train tracks, but I don't like those included train tracks at all

if anyone has the vitese BTTF III delorean on rails, could you please give me a measurement for the width of the rails please?

Nice job. Game could def use some toys. With all the cool movie pins DE made in that era how did the 3 bank drop target become the only feature? Game should have some sort of DMC you load with balls to get to 88mph.

thanks but I cant take any credit yet, the pics aren't from my table. I absolutely want to do the delorean clocktower mod but I'd like to get a better looking set of tracks for the delorian near the launch.

If I still had my BTTF I would find somewhere to put one of these...

I just found this >https://www.etsy.com/listing/173091869/flux-capacitor-ornament-from-back-to-the

I'd really like to get one trimmed and mounted under the vinyl on the main ramp

Just picked one of these up, I've seen people put them on the clear plexi, up and left from the bumpers... I wanted to put it closer to the Texaco plastic but the clocktower already does a good job of filling the area there, we'll see when it gets in.

I'm anxious to see what you come up with bimm25i. I haven't done much to mod my bttf. The only thing I've done is mount a model DeLorean to one of the bumper caps with some poster putty. I saw an led mod for the model DeLorean on here some where. It was wired to go off when the Clock Tower does.

Here is a pic.

So while I'm waiting for my toys to show up in the mail I've been doodling.

This isn't a perfect scale but its probably close to .95 The "ornament" is going to fit under here perfectly.

I think it looks even cooler inside a 6"X5"X3" project box with the right front on it

I'll get pictures up when I get things added to the cabinet.

In the current version (not on the pic) the headlights are illuminated as well.

So the flux-cap ornament came today, it is the PERFECT size, its actually even smaller in width than in my mock up picture above . I don't think Im going to trim it to fit under the ramp perfectly but the left side doesn't have any wiring on it and you'd only need to re-run about 5 traces on the right if you wanted to cut it narrower than the ramp (and even narrower than the sticker, you seriously could make this circuit board invisible with 1/2 hour of trimming&soldering). The lights blink quickly in an inward moving pattern and it looks freaking sweet. I'll put pictures up in the next few days.

It will fit as-is if I take the third bumper cap out, but I kind of want to find lower profile (and slightly brighter) LED's to replace the ones that came stock on the board, I'm gonna have to do some reading first though because I honestly don't know the science behind LED bulbs.

the train track I bought was too narrow for the launch channel but it actually fits perfectly under the ball-lock hobby rail, I think it looks pretty damn cool there too if I do say so myself. Again, pics to come I gotta get a better camera than my junky cell phone one.

I watched BTTF III today for some mod-inspiration and I think I'm going to try to find a ~3" colt peacemaker to put on the plastic above the "mcfly" targets. If I thought I could find a mini Frisbee stamped pie pan I'd put that there too but it seems like a bit of a stretch... maybe its time to buy a 3d printer.

I almost forgot how good these movies are, I think III takes heat for being the worst of the trilogy but watching it today its a really good movie.

just found that, anyone have any real world pictures of this thing?

here are some pics of some of what i've done so far.

I added a "wild gunman papercraft cabinet on the right side of the table
to act as a counterpoint to the 3" pewter colt peacemaker on the opposite side.

the delorean by the clocktower is a Hot Wheels Elite 1/50 scale with a homemade lightning rod

the Texaco station is called "action hoverport" and is a vintage toy easily available on ebay (I had to cut the toy down to fit well)

the ornament is not installed yet, im still creating a power supply system (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/please-help-running-3vdc-ornament-from-555-socket).
But I only had to re-run 2 wires to cut it down so its invisible under the ramp!!! it works perfectly!! I've also shaved the tops of the LED bulbs to get me more room under the ramp.

also, one of the tables on ebay seems to have a custom plastic piece on the right ramp.

Does anyone know what this piece is? My table could certainly use one, sometimes the ball launches off those rivets at the base of the ramp and bounces off the hill valley sign.

I added a little lightgun to the papercraft cabinet, this thing is so cool because I have it in place with just one piece of scotch tape, when the ball hits the 'D' in DOC the wind created blows up through the mod and makes it rock to the side. It kind of builds momentum as it rocks and it looks like there is a little electric gizmo making it rock back and forth. Very cool side-effect.

I also threw some micro machines BTTF cars on the new hover-port. I think I'm going to put a micro deloarean on the top of the ramps gate an inch to the left.

The ornament has been thinned by replacing the LED's with 1210 SMD's

I'm working on a 3V power supply to run it in this thread
