Quoted from Morpheus:

i would like to know, if there would be more interested BSDracula owners, who would be interested in this custom design.
i could order some more 3-d prints, and new (non-faded )decals.

Hi Morpheus,

This is a very nice mod that you have created for BSD. BSD tombstone shrouds have never been available via the pinball after-market parts market so this is very welcome. Your custom BSD tombstone shroud is a significant improvement over the ill-fitting original BSD tombstone shroud which looks like ass.

I will definitely be in for one if you offer these for sale complete with the decal. It would be great if you could work with Pinsider 'ulmpharmd' regarding his request to make your custom tombstone shroud fit properly with the custom coffin mod created by Pinsider 'pinball_customs' (Brock Hemming).

I will take one of each (original-fit and repro-fit) once they are available.

thanks everybody, great replies.
the final product is still in progress.
here's a short clip of the mod in action to pass the waiting time.

final price and where-to-order information will follow soon.

Hi Morpheus,

This is a huge upgrade/improvement over the standard tombstone shroud that shipped with BSD. Well done indeed.

hi you all.
sorry to keep you waiting.
the first finished models are ready.
molded and decalled.
pictures will be posted soon. real soon.
every tombstone cover has a decal attached to it and comes with a pair of new (pre cutted) side decals to fit the Dracula coffin.
this way, there will be no colour-difference with the old decals in your machine.
finaly: the price for 1 complete tombstone - cover set: € 35,-

Thanks for the update. I am assuming that you will ship to the US?

Quoted from Colsond3:

I'm working on arrangements with OP to get a batch shipped to my store in PA...we already have the necessary customs paperwork in place for other international vendors I deal with through LOP.

Nice, thanks for taking the initiative to serve as the US warehouse for this project to help out with lowering shipping costs.

Its a slightly older thread but maybe he has a few left or will make more.

Just send Keith a PM. I sent him a PM in September of 2015 and he promptly sent me out one of his BSD Dracula custom figures. He did a really nice job on it.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Ok peeps...I've gathered the info from this thread and multiple PM's that I've received for all USA members. I've also included the Canada orders, as they should be easier to ship from here in the U.S.
Looks like we're at 73 units currently, including those who want more than 1, or both an original & repro. I have noticed that not everyone has indicated whether they want an original or repro, so I'm assuming original fit unless told otherwise.
If you wanted one, please make sure you're on the list below. I heard from Morpheus Sunday, and we're trying to firm up the number and get these things rolling!!

Same here as that option makes sense.

How exactly do I PM him directly? Is Morpheus his username?

Yes. 'Morpheus' started this thread with post # 1.

Sorry if this is a foolish question, but I obtained reproduction plastics from bryan_kelly and not M.O.P. Does anyone know if Bryan's version would require the "original" version of this mod or the other one?
Thanks to whoever answers this and thanks for creating this sweet mod!
e

I am pretty sure that the repro plastics project that Bryan managed would require the repro version of this coffin shroud.

Quoted from Colsond3:

I have 24 more left to ship. They are all boxed, but the post office is closed today. My postage printer was not working right and I was eating postage / having to request a refund each time it misprinted. So I've been manually making labels, and going to the post office and sending 7 to 10 of them out per day.
When I agreed to do this I was a co-owner of Lights Out Pinball, and had those resources. Unfortunately I left the company in July, but didn't back away from this project. In turn, I had to do everything manually. It's much more tedious this way, but I'm getting it done.

No worries. Thanks for doing this bulk buy project for BSD owners.

My new and improved BSD coffin shroud arrived today and it took about 5 minutes to install from start to finish. Below are some photos of it installed in my BSD.

Thanks to Colsond3 for taking on this group buy project and thanks to Morpheus for creating this very well crafted BSD mod. My custom Dracula figure was created by @kpull.

Quoted from wolfy:

Looking for mine any day now. That's the drac mod I have as well Gord. I like it better than the other one and it was a fourth the cost.

I like the Dracula mod because it matches the image of Dracula on the translite and also the installation is plug and play and you do not have to remove the light board underneath Dracula for Dracula to fit properly into the coffin.

Quoted from 27dnast:

Take a dremel to the corner. Problem solved.
(wonder if that dracula coffin mod is a tad longer in length than original, causing it to push back slightly into the wire form)

Brock's custom BSD coffin mod fits over the stock BSD coffin so it is slightly larger on all 4 sides than the stock BSD coffin. This could indeed be what is causing the fitment issues with Brock's custom BSD coffin and the custom BSD coffin shroud mod created by @morpheus.

Gord

#538 6 years ago
Quoted from Colsond3:

Ok.....for those that didn't receive their covers already or get tracking info previously, everybody should have gotten PM's with tracking info for all the remaining covers sent out today.
After 4 months, countless hours shipping, re-packaging, labeling, waiting, 14 trips to the Post Office and 21 customs forms, all of these are out the door and my task is complete. For those of you that haven't, please let me know when you receive the cover so I can delete your respective PM thread.
And another thanks to Morpheus for doing this...something we all should have come up with a long time ago.

Colson,

Thanks for all your hard work on this. Any BSD owner who didn't get in on this group buy will likely regret it at some point down the road.

Just got back to my office, and a box was finally waiting. We are in business!

And now the fun for you continues.

Thanks for taking on this arduous task of playing Postmaster with these parcels as this coffin cover really spruces up BSD.

Gord

#757 5 years ago

This is what darkryder is looking to replace on his BSD. Although not a perfect solution, darkryder may want to reach out to Morpheus or Colsond3 to see if they have an extra coffin decal set so that he can at least replace the coffin decal with the scorch marks on his semi-melted coffin.

Hey guys. Mine never had a cover so I’m not sure the purpose of the little post on the bottom of the tombstone.(bottom corner of back of cover) I actually don’t have that post either. So sorry to sound dumb but What’s it’s purpose? Also is it a particular size/shape post I’ll need?

We should have got together for shipping. Lol
Mine should be here any day too.

That little post prevents balls from getting trapped IIRC.
