Having an issue with the sound and DMD on my Dracula. I'm getting five tones on startup, I believe, and it gives me a U14 checksum error on the sound board (although on other startups, it may be U18 or another ROM).
The DMD gives a little flicker when you first turn it on, then starts to scramble to the point you can't read it. Shortly after that, we get a loud screech coming out of the speakers. This is when we power it down.
We checked ribbon cables and that didn't address the issue. There is one connector that is quite loose, but still appears to make contact to the board on the back of the DMD. It's the four-pin connector (one is the key) in the middle. It slides off and on super-easy, so not sure if there's a contact issue there.
Does anyone have any advice? We're gonig to look into possible grounding issues to start. Also, we're running the kahr.us daughterboard on the MPU to address resets. This problem started about two months after we installed it, but I don't know if that's related.
Here is a very quick vid we made of the startup. We didn't leave it on long enough this time to get to test mode.

Thanks, all.
