I have a BSD and noticed that I have a pair of wires (yellow + white/yellow) that are cut/taped and also found a spot where a light socket used to be (screw hole and burn mark). I'm assuming the light got stuck 'on' (burn marks) and the quick solution was to get rid of it instead of finding the problem.

Looking in the manual and gauge of the wires it appears to be a flasher. I think it's Item#24 on the Solenoid/Flasher Location diagram (page 2-45) Asylum Flasher #89 and Renfield Flasher #906.
The hole in the playfield doesn't look big enough for that bulb.

A friend of mine in town looked at his and he has a 44 socket/bulb in this location.
I'm curious if anyone has ever dealt with this light socket.
Or if somebody has their playfield up - could you take a look and tell me what yours has.
