Just curious, I am working on a BSD re-import from England and there are these weird bolt holes in cabinet

Two extra bolts drilled through cabinet on each side, below the flipper buttons and one extra leg bolt hole drilled above the normal two, on all 4 corners.

WTF?

Pics? It sounds like someone tried to somehow add support for the cabinet corners.

For the extra leg bolt hole, is it equally spaced compared to the originals? They might have modified to stand the machine closer to the ground for a kid to play or something.

For the ones on the side of the cabinet, maybe for a security device, adding a chain through the machine to padlock to something else? Best guess without pictures.

My BSD is a reimport from Portugal and has the same extra drill holes also. Not sure why, maybe one of our euro friends can shed some light on it.

I've got the same thing going but IDK why either

Looks like a security bar bracket they used that might wrap around the side of the cabinet. Typically I only see the holes on either side of the coin door for the hasps.

This ^^^^^ is correct.

Very likely something like this:

That's a support bracket for our extreme dentistry

I'm going with lockbar + latch on the side

What about the third leg bolt holes?

The third hole for is lowering the height of the game.

I have never seen that done before, or even heard of it. Why lower it by only a few inches?

Maybe a low ceiling in a basement.

I'm in the UK, I had a STTNG with 3 leg bolt holes, and the plate inside had the 3 positions too, so I always assumed it was to adjust the height.
