Both are great nasty games. Rejoice, because there is no wrong decision here.

FG would rather slap you in the face than let you play it well. Shots are always dangerous. Multipliers can be big points, or death. Spinners are awesome when you nail them... but you ignored other things, so it cost you. It is a great classic game, as long as it is set up correctly. I've seen some people set them up to try and nerf the nasty, and it just plays wrong. Embrace the pain.

BSD is freaking awesome. Some people call it a one trick pony, but that trick is just amazing. Again, setup matters. If you are getting 30 million every other game, the setup is totally wrong. Blowing up the stack is a well earned reward for a great game. Make sure it is playing like that. And if you do, it will kick your butt all over the place... until you catch a hold of it and kill that bastid. It isn't crazy deep, and in fact you could call it kind of shallow... but it is also amazing. Oh, and also make sure your video mode is set to extra hard. If it is all set up easy, it gets old quick. But set up properly, it can keep you coming back over and over for many years.

So which is better... nope. No reason to pick the better of two great games.

Exactly, and I know how you feel. I'm full to the gills. You have a BSD currently. So play the snot out of it and enjoy it. Every pinball machine (I don't care how good it is) eventually hits that point that it is time to go. At that point get yourself a FG. That is a great part of this amazing hobby, you can own all of them one at a time. Once they get boring, push them out the door and get the next. I take a very long term view of pinball now. I don't have a FG right now, but I will in the future. But then again, I don't have a TZ right now, but I will in the future. I'll own a Deadpool, the new Jurassic Park, eventually I'll get them all as games move out and those come in.
