Hey there pinball friends! Having trouble with the opto 10 board (A-15430) on my BSD. Looks like it's not getting power from the driver board. I traced the power back to J118 on the power driver board and I'm only getting 1V there as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction? No fuses are blown.

1) remove connector from opto board.
2) test voltage at J118 should = +12 volts.
3) remove opto board.
check/test
3a) remove C1 capacitor.
3b) is cap. bad are traces eaten away?
3c) replace C1/fix traces/test continuity...
4) plug opto connector back ...
4a) test opto board...

Thanks for the reply! I did remove the connector and test voltage on the driver board at J118 and I only had 1V (not 12V as should be). Wondering where to go from here with the driver board? Just remove and check traces?

J118 should lead directly back to a bridge rectifier.
Check your voltage on TP1, and fuse 116. May be a bad rectifier at BR5.

You can also check header J117 and J116 for 12volt. They should read the same as J118

Hey guys! I checked and BR5 was no good. Replaced that and some caps that were out of spec too. After that I was getting power at TP1, but only 9.5V. I checked and the thru hole pads on C30 (one of the caps i replaced) weren't making great contact. I ran a wire from C30 to the bridge rectifier and all is good- 14V at TP1. Thanks for your help La4s and vec-tor
