Hi guys. When the mist ball starts to track across the playfield it gets a couple of inches out of the pocket then falls off. Magnet checks out ok on test as do optos. Any ideas?

is it always in the same location ?
sometimes the wire inside breaks, go in magnet test and pull/wiggle the large black wire at the bottom to see if the magnet power falls away

I was reading up on this a couple weeks back. Usually when it loses the ball consistently a little way out of the gate, it's a long optics problem. The board may be repairable, but if nothing else, there's a $100ish replacement board made now.
