Hello if this has happen to you pleas help .The thing was going back and forth just fine . but had bad optos changed them . Still nothing changed the small board under playfield bam it was fixed . now no magnet travel . ?

The 10 opto board I assume? New or used replacement board?

Go into solenoid test and run the magnet motor test. Does it move? If not, check all the wires on the harness going to the motor for continuity. That harness moves a lot, so a wire or two breaking isn't unusual. One broken wire can intermittently cause what you're seeing.
whats going on with this game its been one thing after another ..
Did the mag motor test ,did not move ,checked wires going to the small bored at the left of the playfield continuity is good .
does this motor get power from the driver bored I did have it out and fixed a TIP 102 rear l drop target
