Anyone know what font(s) is/are used on BSD inserts?

Friday night fingers crossed bump.

On BSD I believe they used blood and a Sharpie. I am not exactly sure but I would start there.

Pigs blood, lambs blood, or.... human blood?

I would try https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/. Although it could be a custom font.

Tried. no joy.

I'm no font expert, but likely it is custom. I would shoot Aurich a PM, he might have some ideas.

I seem to remember years ago of someone mentioning a similar font, but not exact font. I'll look around and see if I can find it again.

I don't think it would be a custom font because it is used across the whole PF. I'm trying to find it for you. It looks like a fraktur-style font but it is an oddity because it is an all-caps font. Typical fraktur caps are very expressive and it is very difficult to read words set in all caps. This BSD font employs capitals that are as toned-down as lowercase fraktur letterforms.

The best I can find so far is that it looks a lot like a 1935 Fraktur called Element which has been recreated here: http://www.bandittransamclub.com/Element%20Font.htm

Actually, looks closer to Tannenberg (1935). There appear to be various free recreations, among them: http://www.1001fonts.com/tannenberg-font.html

There is a rumor out there that some of the BSD's out there have a flag of some sort in the playfield (under the clear). Kind of odd but I heard it and now its on the interweb so it must be true.

Rebels clearing playfields or rare prototype?

Interesting .. was Williams in the deep southern part of Chicago? Maybe this was put into all the pins owned and played on "The Dukes of Hazzard"

Kneissl you got yourself a Dukes pin add 10% to the price. I hear the coin doors are welded shut on the Dukes pins.

Any others out there?????
