You had me at,"Just wanted to share some progress on a mod I'm making.." in a BSD Coffin in the Works thread. Put me on the list.

The coffin area is a major design weakness on BSD that I see every game I play. Love everything else about the game, but felt coffin area looked generally terrible. These things bug me - smoky top lid, dim lighting, suck-ass-drac, crappy tomb decal, overhead lock lights that create laser like glare back on drac. It feels materially horrible - but I am probably being too dramatic and harsh.

It bugged me enough that I have been talking to another sculpture about doing this very thing for me. Recreating a realistic coffin and cool drac figure. I love drac escaping the coffin, and the level of detail is good. Anyways looking forward to your progress.

Put me on the list for a second one. I'll display it somewhere in the room.

I am in - oh yeah! ... and so psyched too. No longer will BSD need to be hidden in a closet when guests come over. It will soon be presentable to all. Brock - you are Da Man of the Hour! or you will be once this run is conceived. Great design again btw. Looking forward to seeing these complete and ship. So what is latest plan to support lighting? Is there any needed or that is being built in? Currently there are two lock lights that are part of the tombstone and that shine down onto the coffin, they probably need to be moved. Physical model is looking sweet.

Typically I would agree that lighted eyes would be a good way to go ... and lord knows they would look good ... but lighting from within the coffin would be preferrable. Can't lock lights be positioned under top two corners of coffin? They could shine (or glow) left for one lock both for two.

Once 20 of these are sold - anybody new that wonders up off the street, cautious few waiting for the bugs to shake out, procrastinators or even cave dwellers - that want one will be SOL. Personally suggest you run, don't walk to your local branch of paypal and order yours today.

Hopefully cause those look great! But the first 20 were going to be stamped or carved "x of 20" or similar. Nothing earthshaking, but passing time until my package arrives.

Got mine and was floored by how detailed and well made this mod is.

Installed mod this weekend. Taped existing headstone to rear of coffin, mostly wanting some light on Drac. There is a good bit of clearance from Drac's 20151025_141607.jpghead to top of glass.

I'd give you a thumbs up if my phone would allow. Anybody else have this problem lately?

It can't be emphasized enough how good this casting is. Top notch quality that fits snugly but securely. This mod could be enhanced if you designed a separate headstone with holes for the two lock lights, but torches may prove to be ok. Either way, looking forward to receiving some torches when they are ready to ship.

Ironically, this mod is meant to provide its owner eternal life.
