I'd buy this in a heartbeat.
And I don't even own a BSD yet.
I'm about 85% there before silicon mold stage. Wish me luck! truly am glad you guys and gals are digging this project...
$150????? Wow that is a lot. I usually go with a type of urethane molding material. At least thats what I think it is. Then again, it does not last that long. By the way, I love how you added the broken boards on the existing part of the toy. That was brilliant. The whole piece is everything that it could be. Will this fit under the clear coffin lid?
No, the end user will have to remove the clear dome and Ron Jeremy from the existing assembly (this is non-permanent) and then this simply slips over it like a cover.
I use a high durability silicon for my molds to get the most out of them -- I only get one shot at this!
Just poured part 2 of the mold. This certainly is the largest mold I've ever made. I'll do a test shot tonight
Stay tuned..

Where are you buying your stuff from......you are paying way too much!

I agree! Pretty much the only supplier in Canada to get Smooth-On products I'm afraid (which is funny, we only have one pinball distributor up here too -- go figure).
Smooth-On makes some really nice stuff, but yes, it is very pricey. I dabbled in reproducing slot car bodies years ago and it added up quick.
Good to see you didn't need a new action figure for each one you're doing. We'll see the details that come through the mold when it's ready. I really hope it looks awesome!!

Not if the goal is to reproduce these affordably, no.. my client and I hacked these toys up pretty good (it took two sets, btw) and at this point it's about 50% hand sculpted, about 35 hours total just to get this far.
I gotta say, this whole project has me shaking.. especially since the original just got destroyed pulling it out of the mold. Not turning back now! By far my largest project to date.
That said, I love pushing the envelope... monotony sucks
Wow, I can't wait to see this thing come together. Really hoping you put these up for sale. Raw and painted. I would love to paint one up.
Ok.. cast #2 is good.
I still have to paint these but a limited, numbered run of 20 pcs will happen. These are $220 USD shipped worldwide and are on a first come, first served basis with #'s. The first two are spoken for, so #'s begin at 3 of 20.

Thanks all. More pic
Why are you coloring the resin red? I would recommend clear and allow the user to paint and use color LEDs to change the look. Red transparent resin will be harder to paint and make it look authentic when you are just looking at it. That being said, excellent work!

Hi, great question! I'm going to be blocking out most of the red. The red will only be visible in certain areas (the dirt) when the flashers are on. that said, I can cast these in any colour you like!
Money sent! Thanks for doing these! Question, will these come fully painted? I requested clear, but would like to see what it comes out like when it is fully painted before I decide.
Yes, fully painted for sure. I'll be posting painted pics today
If buying unpainted, I can do $120 shipped. This includes a cast of your choice of colour, fully prepped and ready for paint.

You never cease to amaze me dude. Nice work.
Quoted from Cobra:Brock this looks amazing. Now if Drano would sell me back my BSD I could order one.
Haha! Sorry dude. Who do you think is getting the 1st one?
I bought these figures over 2 years ago and have been bugging Brock to help me ever since. I managed to hack the toys enough to get the fit and scale right but I quickly realized I was gonna need some help.
For those guys that posted earlier about seeing this before, have no fear, it's an original idea. You probably just saw my early mock up in the BSD owners thread.
It took some badgering but I'm super glad Brock stepped in and worked his magic. I was way out of my element. This thing looks badass! Can't wait to install it.
Coincidentally, it's actually very accurate to the film. The heroes are chasing down Drac's coach carrying these boxes and they reach him just outside the castle. Sun goes down and out comes the bat!
Awesome work dude!!
Thank you!
I am in - oh yeah! ... and so psyched too. No longer will BSD need to be hidden in a closet when guests come over. It will soon be presentable to all. Brock - you are Da Man of the Hour! or you will be once this run is conceived. Great design again btw. Looking forward to seeing these complete and ship. I'll bet by end of this weekend, your list of buyers should be pretty substantial. GLWTM {M=mod}
