It’s the first time I’ve seen them get excited about something that wasn’t a handbag or shoes.
Since everyone else is showing off theirs. . . but mine is not a Jeep or a Bronco. 
However my daily driver is a '16 JK Wrangler and I've been happy with it. One of the things I like about Jeeps (Wranglers) is all the aftermarket options you have available to customize or modify to your liking.

I give them credit for trying, but I agree. I just don't get the same vibe from an FJ Cruiser as I do from my 40.
Got my first Wrangler last year and it has exceeded every expectation, take it offroad in AZ as much as we can. The death wobble is real and sad that it happens to people, I’ve just been lucky I guess so far.
The new Bronco looks sick and when they come out I will definitely test drive one and decide if I should switch in a couple years(would probably wait for a Raptor version to really upgrade though).
I definitely use my Jeep as intended although will probably never get in to real rock crawling so the Jeep SFA vs IFS on the Bronco isn’t as important to me.
Exciting time for sure!

Who says you can't do both? But Jeep has built way more off road vehicles. So they have it down to a science.

Just rousting you on the Chevy. I put a trailer hitch on my '62 Corvette and used it to tow my '48 CJ2A to go off roading. Great tow vehicle. Wish I had a picture of that. But I do have pics of both vehicles.
My 04 automatic plowed 14 seasons of snow and pulled my 28 foot cruiser like nothing till some blondie smoked it in my driveway -texting and driving. She must have been doing 80km... side front impact twisted the frame.
was also rear ended like 3 times before that crash, no damage... other cars were right offs, lol. War machine. Front left fender got me Dinner for 2 years, that moose didn't have a chance. Just kidding, it was a deer. Haha

The competition will improve the game for everyone, which Jeep needs as they keep jacking up prices without changing much

Wow!!! saweeet! Great job.. I don't think its a sidetrack, Fj would be on here as well if toyota didn't screw it up. I think the defender is going down the same road.. its Unfortunate. Fords on the right track, if they make the drive train bulletproof..it will do very well. I could switch...time will tell. Really hope it doesn't end up being an Exploder.

The big issue is that the jeep has been around longer ..and the Bronco is brand new ..the lease on the bronco is gonna be crazy expensive and you can lease a nice jeep for less that 400 a month ..and if your not leasing your not gonna get and discount on the price of the bronco . And you can get great pricing on the jeep ..so I thinks you need to wait a couple years before the price on the bronco comes down ..Jeep will have to discount pricing with this new competition ..so for now the jeep is a much more economical vehicle

That's what I had. It was a 79 Rallye. But it was lighter so it looked like a bar of Irish Spring. Very solid. Very heavy 345 truck motor with beyond gobs of torque. Problem is they mounted it too far forward with almost a foot to the firewall, so the front end would come down hard after a bump.
Nice cab with lots of legroom because its seats were mounted high. Good tow vehicle. A real nice cruiser.

The FJ40s sometimes look that way too. I believe when the rear springs flex the entire rear axle moves toward the back of the truck.

Yeah, I had a 1970 Bronco pickup version, bought it about 1980. 302-2V, 3-speed on the column, 6.50-16 tires, 4.11 gears, NO radio (not even a cutout in the dash for it). Came stock with i think like a 10 gallon fuel tank & got maybe 11MPG.
Best things I ever did was move the shifter to the floor & add a factory 2nd fuel tank to increase my range.
It was an ex-county utility vehicle, they had a spray tank mounted in the back. Great rig. That was back when we had the parts store & machine shop so I promptly pulled the engine & rebuilt it just because. Mild cam, put a factory Ford 289-4V intake on it & ran a Carter AFB with the factory air cleaner so i wouldn't have to cut a hole in the hood. Always kept the skinny 6.50-16 tires on it with the stock steel wheels- they were great for 4 wheeling & I got new retread mud & snow tires yearly for maximum traction.
Had a lot of fun in that thing, never did roll it though. I do recall when you climbed a really steep hill the motor would knock as the oil pickup was in the front of the pan. Solved that by backing up the really steep stuff, had a lower gear in reverse anyway.

Loved my Scout II....345 and those lock-o-matic hubs! Lol. Literally drove it until I could see the highway under my feet....added some wood, and drove it some more. Like many families, they were genetically susceptible to cancer.....bad cancer. Miss that wagon.
New Bronco looks sweet, but its only trying to look like a Jeep.
I prefer the in-line 6 out of Pappy's tractor to any other engine, but that's all that's left of Jeep. The rest is just a Chrysler, and the quality reflects it. That said, I still love driving my stiff, no-frills gas hog that'll take me to insane places.
