    Im restoring a Firepower and in the process of moving posts from the old to new PF, a couple posts snapped off flush with the PF (I guess I should have drilled out the holes a bit first). Question is what the heck do I do now? I dont want to risk drilling them out from the bottom bc it seems impossible to line up the drill perfectly. Any ideas are appreciated! RudyHead

    I dremel a straight slot in them with a cut wheel and remove them with a large straight screwdriver.

    Great idea. Ill try that. I think that they may be too flush to the PF but gotta try.

    Ok here’s the follow up. Bought Vampliers for around $30. It was incredible how they gripped the screw. There was only about 1/8 inch of clearence but it worked. Really impressed.

    those look really cool. i would have just used a screw extractor. might have to get a pair of those though....
