Broken Plastics!

Playfield plastics break. They are expensive or impossible to replace. The vulnerable ones should be protected.

There are a few outfits that sell kits to protect many of your investments:
pdi
pinbits

I've learned to make them by hand with polycarbonate and a belt sander from HF.

Here's the question:

What plastics have you ever seen broken in your collection or elsewhere?

I'd like to build a master list so that people can quickly get a sense of WHICH plastics tend to break in which games.

police force cocaine cartel plastic. Everyone of them is broken. Data east simpsons center drop target plastic and left itchy and scratchy plastic running down left of machine under habitrail. Demo man small center target plastic. Basically any game center targets covering plastic ALWAYS break. So do slingshots.

The front plastic around the dummy dunk on Comet. It breaks in two sections. Once place around the back of the comet ramp and the front right between the dummy and the ramp.

Sling shot plastics on TAF. My Gomez one (right hand side) was broken when I bought the machine, they are almost impossible to get. Bottom corner is broken off.

Whirlwind: I my case when you get an airball from the center 100K w/lit stand-up target: The sign on top of the plastic that over the skill shot droptargets.
Earthshaker: Plastic over Zone 1 stand up target and plastic over Zone 5 scoop.

They really need to make a full set of JM protectors.
The Shadow - seems almost all of them were at least cracked on my machine when I got it. I can't believe nobody made the protectors before I sent my plastics to Pinbits.
