Well, I'm now a member of the exploding glass club! My ST Premium was having a bit of an issue with the optical sensor in the back of the warp ramp, so I decided to take a look. I slid out the glass as always, respecting the glass as I should. It slides out great, I put it down gently and as I go to release my hands from it BOOOOM it dissolves into little pieces. I was just stunned, standing there holding air. Fortunately none of it got in the machine and it didn't pop towards my face. No cuts, just a 1/2 hour of cleanup. It was placed on a hard surface, so maybe the angle did it...or more likely, it was a poltergeist who, being irritated already about not leaving this realm, was sick of the high-pitched bonus multiplier screech (I really can't blame it for that).
