Quoted from MikeO:I've joined the broken glass club twice now but not that broken glass club.
I feel your pain.
I was at a pinball show a few years ago, either Pinfest or White Rose.
A guy about 6 ft away from me took the lockbar off one of his games, and turned around to put it down.
In less than 5 seconds, the glass slid out on it's own and a corner hit another game and exploded.
Way too fast for anyone to do anything but say "Hey".
Last year I was helping a buddy pack up several pinball machines for a move.
He handed me the playfield glass and I rested the bottom edge on my shoe rather than the hard concrete of his garage and it just exploded without warning.
I was wearing gloves but not goggles and I had glass in my hair. Also glass bits in every corner of the garage.
That was a surprise.
