As a way to eliminate the data ribbon cable as the issue, press the right most button. You should see a menu come up. If not, the problem isn't the ribbon cable. Power seems to be OK since the backlight looks to be on. The colored stripes I see would indicate the problem is likely in the display itself though. Menu test will help with that...
