I may take some shit for this opinion, but I actually think the LED job on that Twilight Zone looks good.

Quoted from ralphwiggum:He has gotten the boot from Pinside.... but Whysnow was looking for a Cabaret exactly as you have there-

I looked the other day, his account wasn't showing up as locked/banned any more.
Thanks! I think I like the cool whites in it - trying to avoid color bombing it, but wasn't sure which white bulbs would look best. The cool whites look to go well with the blue color scheme.
I have a Dracula set to arrive in the next couple days, and I've been hesitant to put in a Comet LED order.
Quoted from brobra:Any local welders around accepting ramp, metal, bracket repair work? I desire nice craft and respect that of course.
If you find anything local, please let me know. I have a wireform that could use a spot weld.
Oh man, there's a game I want right now near your route, but I don't have the cash right now. Another time!
Quoted from brobra:Not perfect, but substantially better. Busted out the Paasche Talon brush. May push and clean a little further and then add couple of dust clear passes so it sticks. Errant sprays cleaned up well with cloth and lacquer thinner.

Did you give up on this, or is your recent ad a different Dracula? I've got a faded drac cabinet (like everyone!), not sure if it's worth fixing up or just leaving it.
Quoted from brobra:It’s a good looking build; and this one looks brand new, even though it was an “Big Al” game at some point
I remember Pinball Warehouse having a sign on Rollercoaster Tycoon saying "Our most-sold game!" and I couldn't tell if it was that popular, or if people kept trading it back in.
Quoted from BFGoodflip:Stop by the shop in Eau Claire on your wWay back
Take a nap while you're there.
Quoted from BFGoodflip:To Brian’s credit, he kept the N95 on for the duration, including an epic billion point co-op game of mando…
And I likely would have grandchamped Spider-Man had they not been closing and I drained on purpose. I swear my best games are when I'm half asleep and there's pressure to leave.
Quoted from brobra:Ryancaseystudio
That was sitting in the 2D Con event at the downtown MPLS Hyatt on Nicollet. I didn’t see a for sale sign on it. I think it belongs to a couple collector/operators around town. I can inquire if it’s for sale, and put you in touch with them if so.
That’s why I snapped that photo. They are high demand and rarely seen. It played pretty well, even though I kept landing in the brush and water, lol.
BFGoodflip might have one?
What's your parts supply look like? For all the games you go through, you have to have a pretty good stash.
Awesome! I would have loved to see it, but that venue is hard to get to and back when you don't have a car. I caught them the last time they were in St. Paul, Jeff Tweedy was kind enough to sign my copies of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost is Born and let me get a photo.
20191124_154515 (resized).jpgI'm not a fan of DE Simpsons' gameplay, but the artwork and sound gives me all the nostalgia feels in a way that Stern's Simpsons doesn't.
Quoted from brobra:As I jibe, and approach “irons”, I expect to slowly build the Brobra semi-permanent collection. Currently my hope is these titles as they are ones I’ve enjoyed the most
Whirlwind
Black knight 1980
Earthshaker
Metallica
Jurassic park
Buckaroo
Stranger things
Star Trek LE
Lord of the rings
Whitewater
Scared stiff
AFM
Time machine
Well, let me know if you want to trade anything for my Earthshaker and cash
The perfect time to stock up for the next game... I don't even have a use right now, but taking advantage of Comet's sale and Titan's to get common shop-out parts.
Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:Me today : Ah ha ha. I am so smart. I have everything I need for my next machine, and I saved money!
Me in a couple months : WTF?! Who ever heard of a 3 1/13" rubber ring?!? Does Titan even make that?
haha. I didn't get any rubber - just random star posts, magnetic nut drivers ( honestly not sure why I've waited so long to get these), some other random stuff. New balls, and of course lights.
Quoted from brobra:I’m totally lost without my 1/4 magnetic nut driver….
I'm swearing up a storm...
Quoted from brobra:I’m working on a 2 player Surfer, the more desirable version than the 4 player surf camp. Pm with interest on trades…
It’s a solid one…
I've always been too afraid to ask, why are 2 player versions sometimes more desirable than 4 player versions? Are the rules different? Backglass?
Quoted from brobra:Thanks gentlemen!!!
Done….in 3 days, this thing will be in….
The dollar is strong against the Euro right now. A no brainer[quoted image]
Careful with it, I've heard some nightmare stories with the Mirco playfields.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/mirco-playfields-warning-for-potential-buyers/page/9#post-6842988
Maybe Bryan Kelly has some advice on how to avoid that.
Quoted from brobra:Also, prototype Data East Tommy (extra pops on the pf), the real deal for one that has to have it.
Did you get that from Charlie? Are there any other differences?
Quoted from LTG:Sure you do. You just haven't unleashed it.
brobra wasn't born knowing how to do this. He learned along the way.
LTG : )
Every time I do a top side tear down, I find a screw or random bolt extra. EVERY TIME. I worry what a full playfield swap would entail.
Quoted from RustyLizard:Thanks bud.
[quoted image]
I knew about the cabinet differences, but didn't know they also had different backglasses.
Quoted from brobra:Will be shopping the one of 10 Data East Tommy prototypes known to exist. Pm with interest, but no bargain here.

Can I help you play test it?
Quoted from brobra:Met ND pin champ casually to play some met at Mortimers. He kicked my ass[quoted image][quoted image]
How's Met playing today? A friend said a bunch of stuff wasn't working. We were there the other day playing Godzilla and the left flipper died on us.
Quoted from brobra:Keep hitting free games at Mortimers. Paid 1 buck, played about 15 games so far
Ripping the f#ck out of Godzilla premium.
Metallica is operational but too torn up in left flipper -ville.
Rebuild all plungers and couils and she will be good for another 15k, yo.
I’m certain the guys that operate this location care , I’ve seen them operate. The guys that love pinball and don’t go to the “pop” spots, like to rip your low pro/grasS roots lineup. Just saying.
[quoted image][quoted image]
The GNR there rarely seems to work right. I believe D&G games operates those, pretty sure it's still owned by part-owner of Tilt.
I've got a coworker that would love a Bad Cats but I bet the $$$ would scare them away. They've never owned a game before.
Quoted from brobra:Yeah, pinside price is 5500 believe it or not.
I’m excited about this one. Believe it has an early production all orange cabinet. That in particular turned me on.
If anyone has any spare plastics around, I believed I need the right drop area plastic and right along shot plastic.
Haha yeah, I was talking with them before I saw your post yesterday, and they said they wanted one, and I asked "Well, do you have $3000?" then checked pinside prices and had a bit of sticker shock myself. I had no idea any unrestored System 11 games had crossed the $5k barrier. That prices me out too. Kind of wild, but it looks like a fun game!
