I think northvibe was right:/

Why didn't I know you tagged me? hahah I was?

Quoted from brobra:

Some told me they passed on a 3k minty one 8 years ago. (Wd)

There’s a lot of games I passed on that long ago.... and >4k mm’s . Hind sight is a pita

Nice d&d. Almost bought one a long time ago. You don’t see them often and it is a great theme for the people that play the table top or paper version.

Quoted from brobra:

So...when you corner the market on playfields, you get the pick of the litter.
Which one would you pick?

you get those clear coated?

Off to get a minty white water from another honey hole

That turns me on

Quoted from brobra:

So I’ve been coming across a lot of players that like to restart games (especially on LE and high end games) after they have a first bad ball.
I can tell you my best game ever on lord of the rings started with two bad balls and then I rallied for over an hour and hit 447 million.
When you have a bad ball, play the game through, and try to score well or at least take the time to practice and experiment. Just my two cents.

Ya, I won’t restart a game anymore. I never would restart but sometimes would just plunge and let a ball drain/die. Now I play all balls because of just that. He’ll sometimes ball 1 is amazing and the rest suck

Quoted from chad:

Great game, hope it's the original.

unless someone really liked that green, that is afm remake le.....if it is "stock"

#515 3 years ago

MM is obviously the better game, the top 100 says so hahaha. if afm was so good SevenEightyRacer wouldn't of sold his :-p hahahha. shots fired!!!

Quoted from Methos:

Is that the way the MMr came with all the pink shit on the pf?

I think they did the color gi very well. I created a comparison of stock vs color. They seem to make sure color changes, but then is back to "normal" when the ball comes back to you.

Lwjp is a great game to learn on. Very much a sharp shooting player game. Nothing stacks so you have to March forward but the modes don’t have to be in order. Easy to play hard to beat and the main toy is pretty fun

#602 3 years ago
Quoted from brobra:

It’s a really nice sega package from the art to build and toys. It’s got a nice flow and rhythm on the shots. The egg opening is hilarious. I almost expect that funny phallic meme guy to pop out when it opens.

the call outs are great

brobra do you mind going over how you pack a game up? I usually go over board with cardboard/blankets/wrap but I think you add a mix of foam in there.

#676 3 years ago
Quoted from brobra:

northvibe
I generally start with head folded down with foam, blanket or cardboard buffer.
Next strap the head to the body the long way, using cardboard pieces between strap and game.
Next I measure and cut 1.5” insulation foam for the body sides and use light tack tape, like painters tape to secure.
Next I cut bottom, head, coin door, back pieces secured with tape. (I do this with coin door point up; game on back rails).
Next comes shrink wrap to secure pieces.
The last part, the bottom piece of foam is tougher. I will tilt and balance the game against a door or wall to secure the bottom foam. Other times, I have just placed the piece between the game and palette prior to strapping down.
I use two 16 foot straps to secure the palette (fully wrapped around). One under the palette non skid sides, and the other under the slats on the skid side.
Home Depot insulation foam $18 per sheet (usually need 2.5)
Husky 16 foot strap 4-pack $16 (best deal in town)
Any shrink wrap although I like the thick green Home Depot 24” 1000’ $45[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Awesome and thanks for the tips! My AC/DC may need the bullet proof wrap for its next trip

Having used Escalara many times, I had to watch a video on the Electro Truck. It seemed like more work to operate this model. Here is the video.

wow I didn't know how they worked. They look better than the "escalara" for moving big things on stairs

I’ve recently drilled with 1/8’s and had luck, did a golden tee with that, but don’t go too big or it will suck to drill. Just needs to pop screw off the back to release the lock or the key bits fall out so it turns I would think.

Pita to take off, but when your game comes out minty, it seems worth it.

Thanks to Chad for the advice on packing, ive only ever done cardboard and blankets, this way is actually easy just takes more time and seems safer for travel

#1064 2 years ago
Quoted from snyper2099:

What is the typical cost for one machine in the US - midwest ~ 400 miles.

My ac/dc I sold had interest kind of all over and the shipping rates are up so 450-550 is about the average I'm seeing from Beltman/sti

Quoted from brobra:

Eye of Sauron back box flasher and potd characters and platform installed. I don’t need them to light up. I’ve had it and It’s ok, but I’d rather see my potd points lights, instead.
The army of the dead are the most bad ass fighters in the history of cinema.
This game is game puked pretty good, not my cup of tea, but leaving it.
I’m not bad at this game, so I’ll post a Brobra play and see how deep I can get.
Let’s go for cracking 100 million cold, for a solid test drive….

Where did you get the eye flasher mod? Maybe I should do that to mine.
