Em heads...
Inbound collector quality gottlieb wedge heads.
Egg Head (intended for my collection, but will have a nice one with new glass, rebuilt pops, new rubbers, shopped for trade)
Square Head (intended for me, but may consider trading; excellent original glass.)
Foto Finish (1 of 1000. They are always torched out; this is a stunner all around. Will consider trades, etc.)
If interested in trades, etc. please reach out.

Lots of interest in this collector’s piece.
The rarest of cabinet style, rare hardware (vector monitor)...so if you want it, pulling the trigger sooner versus later will benefit you. I’ll consider pinball trades for it.

Playfield assessment. It’s good overall. My to do list:
- replace cracked plastics
-new or repaint ball.
- cliffys
- puddy holes and light wet sand for paint and cliffy
- consider a few ramps for minor crack at stress points. Left ramp at ball drop (has a repair on it).
The inserts look nice for a game this age. The holes really aren’t bad. I’ve seen way worse. Probably need to buy a full plastic set, but planetary sells individual plastics for this title.
This might be the 4500 wcs when I’m done.

Possibly interested in AFM depending on condition. Feel free to PM details if you want.

Will do. Expect something this evening.
Original Medieval unshopped as-is.
Open for offers. PM if interested. It works and was taken off route. I can shopped out as well if needed. Additionally, send me a playfield or pay for and ship me the playfield and it can be rebuilt all the way up, including decals, hardware, new posts, rubbers, the full 9 yards. Swap is apx. 600 plus any parts or hardware.
Showing off my latest edition. I’ve been hunting for a solid example of
Flying Carpet and scored a nice original.
EM heads, enjoy...
It’s funny, I’m almost always willing to sell trade DMDs but the wedgies only go if I find a better example. I crush on these.

Routed original AFM. Accepting offers unshopped. Just pulled off route.
Give me a PF and it can be swapped for 600 plus parts, etc. new plastics, posts, rubbers, all can go on at that time.
Decals if provided to me can be put on for 500. PM me with offers.

Quoted from DakotaMike:Gonna pm you shortly on the MM.
Sounds good Mike.
I’m starting to fall into the camp the originals are better. I’m also a believer that the original playfields should be restored. Decals are fine, IMO, but resting the “soul” of the game is where it’s at bro’s and bra’s.

Marco order complete. Rubbers, Star posts, single posts, rubbers, pf decals, goalie plastic, flipper, flipper pawls, coil sleeves, some springs, and sling shot plastics. (Plastics are hard to come by, but if I’m wrong, set me straight.

If you can’t fix it, have a reputable repair guy do it. I can sort of get by on my own by learning and touching a lot of games. I really not scared of much now.
If you can’t or don’t want to, MPLS/SP area has several great local pro techs:
pinball plus, Craig sanders, Mark Meyer are few pros I’m aware of.
All good dudes, and all have helped me out one way or the other. When I’m really stuck, I’m calling them.

Dang, that gives me flashbacks to when I repaired and fixed up a Phantom of the Opera last summer. Bunch of connectors burned up on the PS. I had to re-pin sooo many wires and replace a bunch of connectors. Ass-pain! But it was worth it when I finally got her running. Awesome art and music on Phantom. Rules are just too darn simple.

Dude, check out this op-hack (extended wiring with electrical tape). I’ll heat-shrink for more fidelity, but part of me wants to rewire the backbox lighting all together and perhaps investigate the heat there, but you know, LEDs might take the heat off my ass

Can’t find my idc tool.
On to playfield tear down.
This wcs has solid bones. Good not great playfield. Very good cab with a little Brobra magic mixed in. Ordered about 350 in parts. Kind of want it for myself, the more I dig...I estimate there’s at least 15k in plays on this guy, but since it’s a WPC it probably has 50k. I’m telling you...”they don’t build playfields like they used to”...that’s why guys pay top dollar for WPC originals.
Ohh, and relative to AFM and MM original versus remakes...and I can tell you, I’ve owned a MMo, MMrLE, and MMrRE...the order goes like this in terms of play.
MMo hands down best...denser pf wood and better clear coat, IMO.
MMrRE better, and fixed the orbits, but 95%. Get a plus for a dense cabinet.
MMrLE good 90%. 5 demerits for orbits. You can bend them to make it smooth which what I did.

See you tomorrow my fiend. Thank you.
1st application of Millwaxx. My favorite local tech Guru turned me on to it. I really try to avoid anything abrasive on a pf, and prefer solvents and elbow grease.
Rubbers, posts, flippers, coil sleeve
set, sling shot plastics, goalie plastic, and a couple target/goal decals should be here tomorrow.
This focker’s is going to rip when done

That is a cleaner ( abrasives ) and a wax ( silicone ). And eats plastic.

And yes, I did play pinball today on a prototype Stern POTC; on my top 10 and a solid example of the stern glory build 90s.

Ouch. Back to Naptha.
Quoted from brobra:What would you’re recommend process be?
Novus 1 put on a rag and wipe down. Buff when dry. Then a coat or two of a hard carnauba wax.

This is the process. If you have some really tough areas, Novus 2 before Novus 1. It is a mild scratch remover, so it should be safe.
Those outholes on WCS will fall apart if you just use putty and Cliffy's, especially the Goalie one. That one is really chewed up. You can get away with putty and Cliffy's on the more traditional outholes that have deep/sharp sides, but you are going to have problems down the road with these wider/softer outholes and just putty. I would also suggest drilling a couple of small holes into the wear areas of the outholes and packing them with your filler (my preference is JB Weld) to give the filler something to bite into.
Good luck on your endeavors. Good to see you working your hustle and learning on the fly, it's a bold move, but it looks like it is working for you...
Ralph, LTG, and Crank,
Thank you for your support, advice, and interest. It means a lot to me. I’m very grateful.
Quoted from Vitty:Heading to Texas anytime soon? Could use some kind hands on getting a pirates CE up here.
Pm sent. That’s a fun one
6 years ago I traded my TOTAN for a HUO IM and always missed it from my collection. Yesterday I had the opporutunity for a really nice TOTAN 1.5 hours North of me. Pictures didn't do it justice, this one has been well taken care of and I'm very happy to have one back in the arcade.
The seller also included a Fireball/Genie mod, anyone recall who sells this mod or where you can find install instructions?
As an added bonus it came with the Color LED DMD installed (always a welcome perk). Made it home before the snow started as well.
