Nice original game with the brass legs. I hate it when the operator screws a drink holder on the side of game. Someone did that to my medieval maddness. Besides that it's a good looking original with little fade.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Part of me wanted to clean and leave as-is, but I can’t help to make prettier….standby, should look extremely different in a few weeks….
Finally got around to cleaning up this one ofn10 prototype….comets installed and playfield cleaned up nicely.
Here’s the game in the ‘93 Macy’s parade.

Let me know if you have any interest in these. I have friend who will be putting these up….

Quoted from brobra:This game will actually clean up well despite the layers of dirt.

Very happy with the results so far….

This is the way. One of my favorite pinball buys was an Embryon, looked a lot like this but had no paint loss. I cleaned it up, and it’s still in my collection 16+ years later. God bless dirty pins. Just found this thread BTW.

Two different dirty flippers. Get back to work.

It’s the best of both worlds Williams and Bally

Thank you, and welcome. This is a really clean game, now that I’ve gone through it all.
GI is up (replaced burnt connectors), flipper bats, star posts, rubbers, posts, fresh hardware, coil sleeves, flipper rebuild, and warm comets going on after a good polish on the playfield.
Legs cleaned up well, but leaning towards going with this copper powder coat for all trim, gun, and possibly coin door.

This is an incredibly solid, low play, OG IJPatA.

Always a great feeling when all the dirt and grime protected a playfield!

How do you know it had low plays?
Quoted from Methos:How do you know it had low plays?
Because it will be for sale soon? LOLOL…. Just messing with you Brobra…. Keep working your hustle.

It’s a relative term for a game nearly 30 years old. My assessment is based on in common wear spots. I’m estimating 15,000….

I love you guys. Ralph’s got my number…

Yeah, my friend and I were talking about that the other day, how the lack of cleaning did this game a huge favor….
A few games for trade all not shopped but all working…..
Pins:

Those are three great budget games right there.

Consider the trades pre bro sale, before the general public gets a shot….

Oh yeah; Unshopped too many projects

Some super cool Pinsider offered me up a NOs water world playfield I can’t refuse.

I don’t blame you I’d be on that too!

Got colder as I headed south.
Put some plays on this new cpr field-swapped Diner. Played spectacularly; I want a build a nice one.

Old Brobra is slowly coming back to life after a nice ass kicking from the flu.
Nearly done with the topside of IJ…Some new hardware, comet LEDs, star posts, flipper rebuild with w logo bats, titan rubbers, new plastics, and protectors, bumper domes, and a solid cleaning on the playfield and parts.
A couple of odds and ends to address topside and underneath. The inside cabinet has also been painted glass black and looks solid.
Hopefully, I’ll turn on the lights and get a few plays in as a reward tomorrow night

Just finished the hardest move of my life. Chicsgo coin 6 player pitch and bat, up a wickedly steep set of narrow stairs. There was only one configuration to get it out, and we started the wrong way, requiring a reversal when almost up and out….what should have take 45 minutes, turned into 3 hours. Had the weirdest set of characters helping me from a 75 years old man, and a recovering meth addict…couldn’t have done it with them, so my hat is off to them both….
The machine is pretty bad ass, though. Well worth the effort…
Headed to Chicago Sunday. Stops in Milwaukee. Need a co pilot to drive a new pin hauler back.
Pm with hauling needs or interest in a fun ride.
IJ is up…

Had to pull the trigger on this guy for my personal EM collection fetish….
It will look nice next to the 1963 Gigi I’m adding as well.

Brrr, prepare for a chilly week!
Just having dinner with the wife (great sport) who co-piloted and piloted my latest adventure… then headed back north….fairly productive day moving stuff around and seeing all of the wonderful Pinsiders and associated coolness
Picked up a Gigi for myself (my daughter’s nickname), an ‘04 Chevy suburban pinhauler, plus a NOs waterworld playfield, plus other games and goodies for friends, and fellows.
The spectrum of characters included pinball movers/ shakers, collectors, hoarders, restorers, dealers, and certainly cool pinball designers.
I’m grateful for all the support, and all the wonderful experiences and memories a little effort and grit yields. You are wind in my sails.
More to come not finished yet scratch that….had to hole up in the Wisconsin dells at a cheap motel before the road hallucinations started kicking in. 22 hours straight, that was my limit today.
