If anyone within my range wants to ship games to get premium pricing, I’m offering up my bullet proof packing services. I’ll charge an hourly rate plus materials. Your customers and trading partners will be impressed. Plus the games can practically fall off the truck. I’m telling you, no one wants to deal with an insurance claim.

I can also handle the logistics, to make things easy for you. I do the leg work and heavy lifting, you can sit back and sip your favorite drink.

That's some great packing! I definitely would consider using you if I ever needed to ship a pin.

I am late to the party!

Have y'all seen this ?

Slow-mo Guys did a video on a wonka machine. It was pretty neat. A stark reminder of how violent the game we love to play is.

The more the merrier, bro!
Does the video have sound?
The electronics and build quality are out of sight on JJP. JJP has big balls! Go big or go home.
Those slow mo hits are sick and I love that guy’s spot light tool I need one...

It’s amazing what a micro adjustment will do to solve catastrophic problems.
Stern pirates ship sails don’t fall error was solved by adding a card’s width of space to eliminate binding on the sail coil.
Layed a thin layer of hot glue to separate the sail bar and the stop bracket. Works perfectly now.

Please tell me what price range you guys think you’d pay. I need a sanity check.

My line up left the building, so back to building. I’m hoping to pick up a NGG, MMo, AFMo, Egg head, and Square head.
Currently have Egg Head, & King Pin as sales pins, and I guess an arcade Legends 3 Arcade.

So I checked out the 6500 Pawn shop STTNG. A little chewed up, still doesn’t work. I’m glad a local tech gets some business to shop it out.

Offered 3500, but hey, the last good looking around here sold at 4800, plus color dmd, plus some nice mods. So back down 1000 for those, and unshopped...
3500 is not an off base offer at all.

The real question is, what did the pawn broker give away for it? Based on how firm they seem to be, I bet they’re trying to break even at best. Tag said 5999.

Oooof, that's a lot for a game that doesn't even work.

All good business create value and turn a profit.
Insurance people collect commissions on your policies. Take your money and bet against you having a claim (you are betting you will have one).
Car dealers take trades in low, and sell at auction or fix them up and resell higher.
Banks charge fees and interest.
Restaurants and bars mark up food and beverages.
Stock brokers just make money off each trade.
Don’t get me started about lawyers, but they offer legal advice at a price.
So WTF is so wrong about dudes that buy and sell pins? When you buy a car or trade one in do you bitch and moan? When you finance one, do you start criticizing the lenders?
I’m going to celebrate free markets and live in the USA; the greatest nation despite its problems and flaws. If you got a problem with that look in the mirror and evaluate yourself.

#193 3 years ago
Quoted from brobra:

I could use a good joke....tell me one....

So my farmer and ag buddies are some the smartest and craftiest folks I know...this one is for them....

Two farmers pay a seller $1000 for a donkey delivered.

On the way to deliver, the donkey dies...

When the seller brings the donkey, the farmers ask for their money back.

The seller says he spent the money.

The farmers think and say, ok we’ll take it anyway.

A few days later the seller asks what they did with donkey.

The farmers say they raffled it off for $10 a ticket and profited over $2000 on the deal.

The seller asks, well what did the winner think when he found out the donkey was dead.

The farmers said, well, he was upset so we refunded his money....

So it’s a shop day....post some jokes

Shout out to Marco Specialties who provides overnight service. I may have paid 10% more for the part, but service is worth it.
