Quoted from brobra:

Cafetto has a diverse lineup and good coffee….

Pre COVID I stopped at Cafetto on a regular basis on my way into work in the mornings. No one there and I just turned on the pins I wanted to play. Great spot and, as previously mentioned, diverse line up. I encourage anyone that hasn’t been there to go.

Sweet gorditas….that would be fantastic. I guess the you’ve found the benefits of membership…

And here I thought it was the 0-dark 30 wakeup calls!

T2 is put back together.
Premium posts
Fresh rubbers
Flipper rebuild
Worn and broken plastics replaced
Plastic protectors installed
New bumper caps
New lane plastics
Skull has eyes
Switches cleaned
Fresh instructions/pricing cards
Sunlight comets in GI.

Playfield has a few worn inserts but nothing egregious or worth replacing. Notably security pass and 25,000 by the skull on pf, and cpu. May install Mylar after my next wax to prevent further wear.

Next up, we sand and paint head dings.

This game shows well. I’m happy with. It’s clean, it works, and it looks good.

Interesting. Might check my system and ping back if different.

Quoted from brobra:

I’d expect it would be different. Copyright on the software chip is from 1993 on the CPU board and the sound chips are all hand written. This is also a reimport I believe.

“You should’ve stayed there” is missing from speech when you start the second multiball. The music in the first one isn’t the same as game over music but is that of a deeper MB found in production. Other musics are completely different. Werner brothers DMD graphics are on the display which I don’t remember seeing before.

You can’t cheat anything with the top trigger buttons (they work in test and will launch ball so they work)

This is Dave’s game so I’ll have to get another look at the car crash area too I think there were some variations too.

I’ll be looking at mine this weekend and I have a set of HOME-6 chips on standby if I purchase the game.

Is it the one from CL?

Not sure. Dave did the deal and I don’t look at CL anymore.

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

Is it the one from CL?

It is. It was posted like a month ago with a few grainy dark pictures, and the guy just kept lowering the price every few days. I had a hunch it could be nice, and I was right.

Apologies if this is not relevant but had similar issues on a jackpot when diagnosing and overhauling the sound board, turns out two of the sound rom chips were fried.

I was wondering that myself. My first guess would be just prototype sound package.

Got turned on to alimentari deli in Madison.
Great sandwiches.

I really want to hit I/O Arcade Bar but I can’t wait until 4p on this trip. Next time. Shout out to them.

Hit Blue Moon which has a decent line-up upstairs.
Put a few plays on Rick & Morty. Very difficult game.

There is a couch now as well as a very suitable carpeted floor for the weariest of travelers. Moving blankets are nearly as comfortable as real ones… we’ve all been there, right?

It puts the pinball in the saucer or it gets the drain again…
To Brian’s credit, he kept the N95 on for the duration, including an epic billion point co-op game of mando… I really think it’s one of stern’s best in a while. Grogu is somewhat disappointing but such is life.

Yeah, I’ve been lazy adding games to my collection stats page. Current line-up:

Rollercoaster Tycoon (pending)
Black Knight ‘80
Demolition Man
Terminator 2
Cleopatra ‘77 (thanks BFG for the board).
Buckaroo
Square head
Egg head
Foto Finish
Kings and Queen (Never FS)
Cuba Libre (head to head pin)
Bally Spinner (probably keeping)

Inbound:
A couple of gems, TBA, when secure.

Thank goodness for my Lectro Beast.

And I likely would have grandchamped Spider-Man had they not been closing and I drained on purpose. I swear my best games are when I'm half asleep and there's pressure to leave.

I could sell it to you, but then I will disappear.
It’s a family heirloom and my wife and her family would off me over it. I’m the steward of it, but I can’t call it mine.
