How cool! I'll have to start bidding for MSP overnights. Love the LTG neon sign.

Hope you can make it. Let me know if you are coming.

Glad you like the sign. It's animated.

Ha! Did you commission that yourself, or was it a gift? I've always had an affinity for neon.

I had it made by neon images around 2003, when times were better. It was in St. Louis Park then. Different owner now, and it's in Hopkins. Still does great work. Repairs and new signs. Though I believe local. I don't think he ships.

Inbound a very nice Demolition Man, if there’s interest in trades. Color-puke will be cleaned up.

Also heading to Milwaukee Friday 7/16 and can haul up down 94 between Minneapolis and Milwaukee.

I was going to get this one made 5 years ago. Animated with the streams and slimmer moving. Marlon quoted me $2300. But the Stern store never happened and I never got the Ghost Busters pin.

Would have been cool hanging in the front glass door I don't use.

I think those 2 into 1 (returns) are worth a bit more than that or is one of them a 3 into 1?

I actually had someone offer me a new door in exchange for my used one once.

Someone wanted a coin door but I think they are unrealistically looking for a deal that doesn’t exist. I recommend they buy a new door for 200, and call it a day.

What’s the backstory on it. It’s ok, this thread is far from PC; and we’ll bury anything bad so it’s doesn’t make a stench

“L”’ is for Living in my book.

Today I’m living….glad to be here.

My little Awd simple VW wagon gets the small EM jobs done. Could use 4 more inches in heights for DMD and modern games.

Quoted from brobra:

What’s the backstory on it.

Been in use since about 1975. Many times people on RGP were trying to guess what it stood for.

From Pinball News :

They were initials I used for video games. In the early days of the video game fad you could enter three initials. I have four initials. And I didn't care for a lot of strangers knowing my full name. So about 1980 I started using LTG, which stood for “Lloyd The Great”, which was a joke because any time I got to enter it when I serviced a machine, the scores were reset, and anybody could get their initials in. So it wasn't on a game long. And anybody who asked what my middle name was got "The" and got laughed at. It became a big inside joke at my business. Then when I got webTV, it asked for a nickname for email, so I used “lloydthegreat”, and of course couldn't change it. So that stuck, then when I sold stuff on Ebay, I needed a seller ID, so why invent a new one, use one that is known as me and by my reputation. Questions arose on the rec games pinball news group what LTG stood for, David Gersic coined the "Launch Those Geese", and the rest is history.

From the outside, I was very surprised to see the playfield in that condition. I picked up a few games for a buddy to subsidize my trip. I sort of want to buy it off him

#1737 2 years ago

Took an initial peek at my latest T2. I’m pleasantly surprised by the condition. Acquired sight unseen, but from someone trustworthy…it’s nice to operate with various levels of trust; it can speed things up for sure.

Bottom cab and door are really nice.
The wear on the head is all in the black and can be handled fairly easily, with good looking results.

I’m hoping it continues to look good once I boot it up and put some plays on.

A new mini line-up…
The LOTR is looks brand new all around.
Shaker, color dmd, pinball pro speaker set, that bad ass custom topper, under cab lights. Path of dead characters un installed NIB, eye of Sauron mod.
No protectors. I may fashion Mylar protectors, and keep it original looking.

Latest T2 is filthy, but has solid bones and is 100% playable. Left flipper needs replacement. Will add new coil sleeves while under the hood. Cleaning process has begun. Puddied the cab dings. I’ll let them set for a while while I work…
The game looks solidly lit all incadenscents; it’s going to stay that way for now. Also adding a new glass channel.

Put some plays on a space shuttle with a hard top. I know I’ve been anti-hardtop, but frankly this one was done nicely and the game played well. I get why they bare appropriate, especially when new fields are hard to come by. Thanks to a solid pin buddy, for showing me your line up. I’ve seen a lot of line-ups in my day, and I was taken a back by yours. Thoroughly impressed. Appreciated the visit today.

Eye of Sauron back box flasher and potd characters and platform installed. I don’t need them to light up. I’ve had it and It’s ok, but I’d rather see my potd points lights, instead.

The army of the dead are the most bad ass fighters in the history of cinema.

This game is game puked pretty good, not my cup of tea, but leaving it.

I’m not bad at this game, so I’ll post a Brobra play and see how deep I can get.

Let’s go for cracking 100 million cold, for a solid test drive….
