Quoted from Vitty:

I've had several games a few times now and only one has truly stuck - Wonka.

This is proof that pinball is truly an individual experience and that there are no right or wrong pin preferences. I had a Wonka and the more I played it, the less I liked it. To be clear, I wanted to like it. I really did, but at the end of the day I didn’t think it was fun.

Anyway, I’m glad you love your Wonka! To each his own!

#1302 2 years ago

I've only ever owned Wonka CE's and from what I hear its a bit of a different experience from the LE particularly in the speech department.

Quoted from bigdaddy07:

Vitty, I have your original LE! Why did you let her go?

I am the first owner of that LE. Would you believe I sold it for a bit less than it goes for now....

Quoted from Dan1733:

I am the first owner of that LE. Would you believe I sold it for a bit less than it goes for now....

I'd hate to tell you what I paid for it, but it did have a number of additions included.

Assuming your collection is current, it looks like you have another one. Is this a game that people sell then miss soon after? I can certainly see that, as I can't imagine selling mine.

#1305 2 years ago

Vitty went with wonka as his all time 1/1

For me, ehoh would be part of that discussion. Along with JP (owned three times).

#1306 2 years ago

I’m a huge fan of JP, personally I couldn’t get into JJP games at all, but after some discussions with Vitty, he put it like this.
To paraphrase ‘if I want to play a game for 15 minutes, I’ll hit up a stern, but if I want to play for hours, and explore a game, it’s features, nuances, and depth, it’s JJP’.

I get that, and that’s probably why I’m turned off and overwhelmed with JJP games. I haven’t even begun to scratch the surface on them. They are an acquired taste.

Problem is, I never have one long enough

Vitty is back in the sac with Elvira.

This good guy scored a nice TMNT LE. Slowly made its way up from Wichita then parked in KC for few months, then brought back up to Mpls, on it’s way to Fargo.

Boom! Now time to chill. That’s a sweet king fisher fishing boat, the other pic is one of many beautiful bays on Lake Minnetonka. Would love to hit the water and catch and release muskies and northern pike. (Sometimes with fronts, the fish shut down).

Can’t wait to see this once mr. V works his magic. The most detail-oriented guy I know, has impeccable taste, and has the games that are truly well-maintained, tastefully trimmed, and modded. Enjoy Bro.

Solid work! Love the signs. I like the 2x4 skid-high-ass protection. Still a decent amount of overhang on that palette. Looks like a 36x36.
May I call you Master now?

No "Master Po" I haven't walked on the rice paper without leaving any marks I have passed only the first test Now if I could just learn how find a game or 2 on my own

I screwed those 2x4's right into the pallet, I figure the most common accident is the forks being to high and run through a game so hopefully those 2x's would stop that and they were just laying around my buddies shop anyway.
