***Insert clever reference to Rocky Horror here***

Picked this up at Pinfest last year. Was listed as missing the transformer. I could also see that a couple displays were missing, but more important to me was the backglass, playfield and cabinet looked OK.

Except for the missing displays, it has all the boards. Though most of the boards are missing components.

I scrapped a Tri Zone last year. Looks like most of the missing parts are interchangeable

Quoted from RCA1:

Banana flippers?

Nope - standard Williams flippers.

I've been able to get the curved flipper frames and the rubber boot, but the plastic flipper body seems unobtainium. I wonder if they can be 3D printed?

It's Alive!

All I had to do is replace every single board. Now just to work out the garbled displays

Got the displays working.

There is something I don't understand. The displays wiring harnesses are wired differently between my Tri-Zone parts, and what had come with the Time Warp. The Tri-Zone harnesses are what works.

No audio. I had bench-tested the sound card a few weeks ago, and it worked then. Now it's dead. The sockets and caps are original. I guess I will need to revisit.

This machine is amazingly clean. A few wear spots, but everything is working on the playfield. The flippers are really sloppy, and of course, not the correct shape. Is it me, or is there more gap then there should be? Looks like there was previously a center post just above the outhole.

Quoted from CanadianPinball:

If you promise to install them, I can send you a set...just cover the shipping.[quoted image]

PM Sent! I would be very happy to install your flippers into this machine

I got @canadianpinball curved flippers - Thank you!

I had wanted to update to the Fliptronics type, as posted in Vid's guide. It went well, but I wonder if I need capacitors on the EOSes? I installed them, but then thought that the Fliptronics usually had 50V coils, and these are 28V.20200124_211945 (resized).jpg20200124_211945 (resized).jpg

Can't figure out the issue with the sound. If I push the test button, I get the sample sound. A couple times, the audio worked for a few seconds then went dead. With the sound board out my Tri-Zone, it's perfect.

But wow, what snappy flippers! Unfortunately, the rubber boots aren't very good. They kind of fall off and the left one's inside curve is stretched a bit.
